received a Helen Hayes Award nomination for her portrayal of Mother in the national tour of Ragtime directed by Frank Galati. She created the role of Cousin Nettie in the critically acclaimed national tour of Carousel, directed by Nicholas Hytner, and was also in the Tony Award-winning production at Lincoln Center. Other Broadway credits include Its A Grand Night for Singing and 1776, both at the Roundabout Theatre. Last season she starred as the Verdi-singing student Sharon in Master Class at the George Street Playhouse. She has been part of City Centers Encores! Series and was featured as Catherine of Aragon in Rex at the York Theatre. Regionally, she was Dot in Sunday in the Park with George (Seattle Rep), Svetlana in Chess, Laurey in Oklahoma! (LA Opera), Cats (LA national) and was in the film The Object of My Affection. Ms. Eichenberger is the winner of the National Institute of Music Theater George London Award and was a Met Opera Regional finalist. She is the proud mother of Isaac, 8, and Olivia Rose, 6.

REBECCA EICHENBERGER, who received a Helen Hayes nomination for her acclaimed performance as Mother in the national tour of Ragtime will make her PHANTOM debut when she takes over the role of Carlotta beginning Tuesday, April 24th.

Miss Eichenberger's other credits include the Broadway productions of Lincoln Center's Carousel (as well as the National Tour) and Roundabout Theatre Company's 1776 and It's A Grand Night for Singing. Other New York appearances include productions with City Center's Encores! series and Catherine of Aragon in York Theatre's reworking of the musical Rex.

Miss Eichenberger replaces LIZ McCARTNEY.
