Carrie was recently seen as Lesley Pynchon in THE FIX at the Donmar Warehouse and prior to this was seen as Jellylorum/Griddlebone and as Grizabella in CATS at the New LOndon Theatre. She has also been seen in the original companies of BRIGADOON as JAne Ashton at the Victoria Palace Theatre, as Lianne Dexhlemans in GIGI at the Lyric Theatre and the last revival of WEST SIDE STORY as Consuela and as understudy to Maria at Her Majesty's Theatre. She played the lead role of LAdy Jacqueline in ME AND MY GIRL at the Adelphi. Carrie has also appeared in THE DEVIL AND MR STONE at the Donmar Warehouse, a new musical by Stephen Keeling's, HELLO DOLLY! with Carol Channing at the London Palladium, The COLE PORTER CENTENARY GALA at the Prince Edward Theatre, and SUDDENLY HOME, a new musical by Glen Roven and Armistead Maupin.
Her regional work includes LAdy Jacqueline in ME AND MY GIRL at the Wolsey THeatre, Ipswich. She has also appeared in the national tour of PIRATES OF PENZANCE and the comilation show FROM WEST END TO BROADWAY, which she also choreographed. Prior to this Carrie appeared at the Chichester Festival Theatre in THE WIZARD OF OZ and as Cathy in COMPANY at the Northcott Theatre, Exeter.
Other credits include THE CHEEKY CHAPPIE and JAMES AND THE GIANT PEACH at the Queen's theatre, Hornchurch; PICKWICK at Exeter, the national tour of ANNIE and the hugely successful KING"S RHAPSODY at Bromley, Robin Hood in BABES IN THE WOOD and Puss in PUSS IN BOOTS both at the Watford Palace theatre.
Carrie has also worked on the workshop productions of RADIO TIMES, JEKYLL and TEETHING TROUBLES and was invited to appear in the original concert version of Aspects OF Love at Andrew Lloyd Webber's Sydmonton Festival. Her work for the screen includes the leading role of Sybil Heston in SHADOW PLAY - TONIGHT AT 8.30 opposite Joan Collins for the BBC, Miss Schmelling in HIGHLY SPRUNG for BBC and on radio on Natasha Hapsbrung in Chris Neil's TAKE IT UP THE OCTAVE for BBC radio 3 , Young Heidi in FOLLIES recorded live at Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, the role Val in the 20th Anniversary recording of Michael Bennett's A CHORUS LINE and Ursula in SWEET CHARITY, all for BBC Radio 2, as well as numerous corporate training films.
