Born in swansea, Claire graduated from the Welsh College of Music and Drama, Cardiff in 1992. Opera roles include Drusilla in l'incoronazione di Poppea, Miss Wordsworth in albert Herring and Susanna in the Marriage of Figaro. Claire has performed numerous concert and oratorio works throughtout Brittain, has made choral recordings for BBC Radio 3, and also completed a telivised Opera Masterclass with Dame Joan Hammond for HTV Wales. In 1993 Claire made her professional debut on a tour of La Giaconda with Opera North. Since then she has appeared in Elegies at the Libary Theatre, Manchester, a series of Concerts at the International Festival of Music in Caracas, Venuzuela and understudied and played the role of Carlotta in both the Manchester and Edinburgh productions on The Phantom of the Opera. This production marks Claire's West End debut.
