An trained with Maria Verhaert and at the Vienna Conservatory of Music. An's greatest theatrical triumph so far has been her portrayal of the governess Maria in The Sound of Music which she played for 3 seasons (Royal Ballet of Flanders tour, Flanders and the Netherlands). Last season, as a contrast to her sweet Maria, An was able to "let her hair down" as the over indulged diva Carlotta in The Phantom of the Opera (Municipal Theatre, Antwerp). Her other roles include Flower Girl in Parsifal (Flemish Opera Foundation), principle roles in Broadway Babe and Hollywood by Night; Hermelijn in Dear Fox, Margot in Yours, Ann, a musical based on the Diary of Anne Frank, Emma in Jekyll & Hyde and Young Sally in Follies (all for the Royal Ballet of Flanders, Music Division); Griddlebone and Jennyanydots in Cats (Music Hall). Television and Radio credits include numerous performances as soloist with the Radio and Television Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra of Flanders, J Fiamminghi, The Beethoven Academy, L'Arco Musicale and Rundfunkorchester Südwestfunk. She has been awarded the Frans Dupont prize at the 9th International Opera and Bel canto Competition, Second prize at the Nico Dostal Wettbewerb (Vienna) and First prize at the Marga De Boer Operetta Competition (Roosendaal, Netherlands).
