Morag was born and educated in Edinburgh. After gaining a B.Ed in Music at Lancaster, she spent 4 years at the Royal Northern College of Music studying Opera. She joined opera North for a short spell and then became a freelance singer in London. Operatic roles performed to date inclue: Donna Elvira (Don Giovanni), The Governess (Turn of the Screw), Queen of the Night (Magic Flute), Public Opinion (Orpheus in the Underworld), Micaela (Carmen), Barbarina (Figaro), Nedda (Pagliacci) and Norena (Don Pasquale). Most recent performances have concentrated on comic roles from early Italion Opera Repertoire - Bellina (Le Astuzie Femminili) and Clarice (L'Amante di Tutte) at the Richmond Festival. Phantom of The Opera is Morag's West End debut.
