John Aron began his professional career as a singer and dancer on Australian Television. He then joined the Australian Opera to play Alfredo in Die Fledermaus and remained with the company for five years, during which time he sang more than twenty roles. He has worked with the Scottish Opera and then toured in three Ivor Novello revivals: Glamorous Night, Perchance To Dream, and King's Rhapsody. Other musicals include Waltz Dream, Pickwick and The King And I. IN the West End John has appeared in Cole, Thomas And the King, Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Call Me Madam. He created the role of Pirellu in Hal Prince's production of Stephen Sondheim's Sweeny Todd at Drury Lane and was most recently seen in Gigi at the Lyric.
