Ravil Atlas is pleased to return to the Curran Theatre where he played the roles of Brujon and Jean Valjean in Les Miserables. Since then he has performed in more than 12 operas and ten concerts including two world premieres. Ravil served as principal artist in residence for Opera San Jose in nine opera including Rodolfo in La Boheme, Edgardo in Lucia di Lammermoor, Tamino in The Magic Flute and Gustavo in Un Ballo in Maschera (chosen as "year's best" by the San Jose Mercury). Other credits include Don Jose in Carmen and the title roles in Il Travatore, Candide and The Student Prince. Concert highlights include Das Lied Van Der Erde , the Verdi and Mozart Requiems, The Messiah and an appearance with Dave Burbeck. Ravil is a former member of the renowned vocal ensamble, Chanticleer, and was a regional finalist with the Metropolitan Opera National Council auditions.
